Elite FMS set up a connection with Mortgage Angels in April 2005 and we have been receiving leads on a regular basis since then. We already had a regular supply of leads from another major organisation, which is still ongoing, but it is true to say that Mortgage Angels (prev. Estate Angels) are producing as good a quality of lead at a more competitive cost to our business.
Although lead sourcing in this way is only a part of our overall business generation it is, and will continue to be, an important element. We have tried several other ways of internet and data capture provision and have decided to stick with the professionals, especially Mortgage Angels.
Inevitably with this type of sourcing there will be time wasters, people who "didn't realise someone would call us", or "I was only browsing and not serious about a mortgage" etc. It is true to say that every time an enquiry is submitted to us that does not satisfy the promise made by Mortgage Angels they have been extremely happy to consider refunding the cost of the lead and in virtually every case have indeed done so.
However, through development and improvement in our timely approach to the prospective client we have found a marked improvement in hit rates. Even some of the initial "negative" respondents have been "turned round" by a non aggressive marketing approach, supplying information and brochures etc for the future and diarising follow up calls maybe 6 months down the line have all led to additional business written. Mortgage Angels also captures additional basic information such as dates of birth. This helps in the initial call where by knowing the age group the conversation will take on a different approach if we feel we are talking with a young first time buyer or a "seasoned" house buyer. All those little extras that help in the qualifying stages.
In summary, the ongoing professional, helpful and friendly response from the staff at Mortgage Angels, the quality of the majority of leads supplied and the very competitive cost of the leads will keep us as a client for a long time to come.
